Biography

Guitar Player

I’ve been doing this guitar thing for a good few years now and have worked in every aspect of the music profession including touring with high profile artists (and some you’ve never heard of), sessions, film, T.V, recording and teaching. I have performed in every conceivable type of venue from small clubs (100 Club, The Marquee and the Jazz Café etc.)  up to The Royal Albert Hall, Wembley Arena and Tokyo Budokan but sad to say I still haven’t done a pantomime yet!

The session industry has really fallen off over the last 15 years or so, certainly not the life it used to be but I’m still doing everything that comes along.

I am also a vocalist and am fully experienced in PA, amplification and backline equipment. A summary of my career highlights as a guitarist include the following work:

Live Performance

I have played guitar on many concert tours throughout my career including tours with Jimmy Ruffin, Elaine Paige, Paul Weller, Matt Bianco, Womack and Womack and Sonny Southon.

Composition

I co-wrote “Baby Goodbye” for Friday Hill which reached number 5 in the UK National Charts.

I have also written and co-written numerous pieces for TV and Library including a Lynx commercial, Jingles and original pieces for Comedy Central, UK Gold and the theme music for “Angela and Friends” on Sky 1.
