Private tuition

I am available for private guitar tutoring around South East London and North Kent areas either at your place or mine.  I teach both children and adults of various abilities, beginners to advanced, including professional musicians and people with learning disabilities, autism, Asperger’s etc.  I currently have some availability during weekdays and evenings so please contact me for more details of prices and timings.

Formal tuition

I work as a peripatetic Guitar Teacher at Greenacre School, Walderslade, Kent and Sutton Music Centre.  I have numerous guitar students between years 7 and 11 studying a wide variety of styles, many of whom are working successfully through Trinity, RGT and Rockschool exams.

I have had great success in teaching adults who have never picked up an instrument, many of whom have joined bands and participated in jam sessions and open mic nights.

I can teach theory and improvisation, work through the guitar parts of your favourite songs or take the formal route and work towards Rockschool or Trinity exam grades.

I ensure that the learning process is structured efficiently and professionally and that it is an enjoyable and rewarding experience for the student.

I can also advise on guitar, amplification and effects purchasing and maintenance and am on hand to troubleshoot any technical problems. I also have keyboard skills.
